I am Mrs.Jamieson I am trying to show a girl that having friends and family instead of just having jewelry. I feel terrible for this family that’s why I am sending the president 4 letters on why these people are treated unfairly. These families are being evacuated from their home and losing jobs and their communities because the fault of a few people.
I am Ken I arrive home from the library and I get terrible news that my father has been taken away by the FBI. We received many phone calls asking the same question if all the men were being taken? I soon find out that all the men associated in the community have been taken. I see the worried faces on my sister and my mom I have to act tough for them until father returns.
This year Honda sales starting going down to due to a system malfunction in the model Ridgeline . This problem made people less interested in the model Ridgeline and due to that their was a negative correlation. Once Honda fixed the problem not many people trusted their vehicles so the sales were starting to go up but still stay down so it was no correlation in the sales graph. Once Honda fixed the problem the sales chart started going in a positive correlation.
Overall Honda Ridgeline had a system malfunction and people became less interested in it and people stopped buying it. Once they addressed the situation and fixed the sales chart started going in a positive correlation.
The Big Short
The Big Short is a movie about the housing collapse in 2008. It shows a story of Michael Burry and how he saw major loopholes in the housing market only a few people saw. He investigates into the housing bonds and realizes they are not what they seem. Most of the AAA bonds which are suppose to be secure and less likely to fail are full of mortgages that are not secure. They were not secure and did not even have income verification.
Many people were affected by this and lost their homes. In the movie they have a scene where they approach a renter and they ask for the home owner and they say his name and ask for him and the renter says your looking for his dog? What that basically says is that anybody could get a home at that time and the banks were making money from selling homes that they would sell them to people who could not afford them and they would all lose them at some time.
The movie also shows Mark Baums perspective. He hates the banks. He thinks they screwed us over on student loans that we can never get out of. He discovers Jared Vennett over a wrong number phone call. Jared Vennett sells them an idea that the housing market will collapse and that they should invest in him and he could make them money but they do not believe him off the bat. They do further research and discover that what Jared was talking about was true.
In the end the housing market did collapse and Mark Baum, Jared Vennett, and Micheal Burry all shorted the housing market and made money off it. They all hate the banks and know that they put the blame on poor people, and lowered level workers.
Training day is an old classic movie that shows a dark side of being a police officer. When a veteran police officer Denzel Washington trains a rookie on his first day Ethan Hawke, he learns that everything is not what it seems as being a police officer. The whole movie is told through out Ethan Hawke’s point of view.
When Ethan meets Denzel, Denzel comes across as a person who thinks he owns everything and gets in to Ethans head by asking about his personal life. He thinks he is above the law by the way he acts and talks and carries himself and by his title, he is respected through out the inner city of Los Angeles where he takes Ethan on his first “Training Day”. Denzel has a reputation for putting the big bad criminals away and not just the small time offenders. Ethan however feels that any crime should be punishable no matter what crime. Alonzo is a dirty cop, however he has done good for the police department but he is still mixed with bad people.
At the beginning they are cruising down the streets of LA and Denzel tells Ethan to smoke marijuana and Ethan refuses Denzel pressures him by saying to get out of his car and that he will ruin his career and will not allow him on his special drug narcotics team. After Ethan smokes the drugs Denzel convinces him that he has connections and pass his drug test. Denzel shows Ethan all his criminal connections and how he allows bad things to happen and Denzel shows Ethan that making money is more important to him than actually busting criminals. They make a huge drug bust and keep all the drug evidence money and split the money between the narcotics unit Ethan says he does not want to be a part of this and will tell the actual police and have the whole unit arrested. However Denzel knew something was gonna happen like this and says that they will not believe him due to the drugs in his system. They go out though a journey of chasing each other and exposing each other.
Personal Reflection
This journey of starting our own business and creating our own ideas has been a lot of ups and downs. Me and my partner did not look eye to eye on some ideas such as the business logo or what we should do for our advertisement. Their has also been a lot of ups also such as achieving a successful business plan. Picking what our idea was for this project was also very difficult there are so many problems in our community and we had to narrow it down one main problem which was drunk driving. Brain storming the problems in our community was very difficult due to the fact that their is many problems such as homeless people, dog problems, jay walking, and many more we choose drunk driving because it is a more severe cause that has more devastating consequences. We feel that we choose the right topic and made the right invention for this problem.
Small Business Plan
Our business plan describes the process that we went through to create this product. We started off with 20 community problems and we cut our options and continued this process and realized our major problem was drunk driving. Our customers main problem is drunk drivers destroying their vehicles what we provide is a system or device that does not allow drunk drivers to operate the manufactures vehicle. Our business plan included a short version with all 7 main points to a business plan.

Jazmyn Luna and I have made 2 forms of media to promote our presidential candidate who is Hillary Clinton. One of the forms of media I created was an advertisement to promote Hillary Clinton because I think she is more suitable than Donald Trump for president. Hillary Clinton has more experience, she is also more qualified if you look at her career and what she has done. Also another trait I like about Hillary Clinton is that she is resilient, she has insight she has asked herself tough questions and accepted her loses and took responsibility for her loses.
Physical Wellness is more than the just exercising daily.Physical wellness is keeping track of your health numbers such as your cholesterol and knowing you are in a healthy range. Other numbers that are important is knowing your weight, and blood pressures. A reason it is important to know your weight is because you should know if you fall in the overweight or underweight. Having a well physical wellness can help in other aspects of your life such as affecting your social wellness if you do not feel well about yourself it might be difficult for you to make friends or open up to somebody.
It can also affect your financial wellness if you do not take care of yourself you will be constantly be spending money on having to get healthy or medication although you will still spend money on improving yourself such as a gym membership and vitamins and supplements.
The reason physical wellness is so important is because obesity levels are sky rocketing with all the junk food around us. Not many people are vegetarians or go on paleo diets due to all the fast cheap food with all the hormones and non organic stuff in it. I personally do eat Mcdonald’s and eat junk food but I’ve been trying to eat healthier and trying to do more exercise because I know that if I continue that unhealthy life style it could affect my future so much such as high expensive medical bills.
Not being healthy can also affect my career choices such as being involved in law enforcement I would need to be in shape to chase criminals on foot or lift up people if they were injured, or if I was to be a surgeon my vision would be very important and hand eye coordination.
I believe that occupational wellness is a huge part of someones adult life and involves how happy you are in your career. Occupational wellness is a big part because it involves all aspects such as your physical well being if your job soaks up all your energy it might affect your physical well being not leaving you the energy you need to stay in good shape. If your job also doesn’t allow you time because your so busy at work then it wont give you time socialize and go out with friends and it might complicate your social circle causing your friends to hang out with you less. Occupational wellness also has to with your mental state if your job burns you out mentally then it might affect other aspects. The way you know your happy with yourself and the choices you make has a lot to do with occupational wellness. Occupational wellness is just doing something you love and enjoying it when I go out to the real world and go look for a job I will definitely keep that in mind that your job doesn’t only affect your job but your well being, mental state, physical well being, and many other things. Having a low stress level around work is a good way to know if you have positive occupational wellness, balancing out work, free time, and building relationships with your co workers. Overall occupational wellness has to do with job satisfaction, career goals, and personal satisfaction. Picking the right career and matching it with your choices has a major part in how happy you are in life. You can not be scared and pass out when you see blood and want to be a surgeon, or hate kids and want to be a teacher so picking the right profession is everything.
I am currently a senior at Vista High School. I am in the Personalized learning program since junior year this program has helped me focus on my goals and in school. This program allows me to get the help I need by making the classes smaller and giving me the freedom to learn more. What I like to do in my free time is play soccer and work out. I have been playing soccer since I was a kid and I have loved it ever since I started working out seriously at the end of junior year. I had a job over the summer at a pizza place but I didn’t like it so I stopped working their after a while. I didn’t like working at the pizza place because of the crazy schedule they would call me 30 minutes before and tell me to come and I would already have plans. What I plan to do after high school is become a paramedic or join law enforcement the reason I would like to do these things is because I love helping people and I feel my strengths would be best applied in this area.
